Marie in Pink

Being inspired by a catalog shoot often means not just buying the exact same pieces and piling them together, but also learning about the color scheme and/or texture mixing.

Take a look at this shoot from J.crew Tokyo Catalog this fall, pink, oxblood red and blush pink all blend in creating an extreme harmony; at the same time, textured wool and smooth leather work together making the whole outfit more interesting than just plain blend of colors.



I used an old piece from my closet, double cloth Marie coat from 2008 Holiday season and paired it up with a new purchase, faux leather pants from H&M in oxblood color.
