I don't know if it was just a coincidence or what, but anyway, as I wrote something about the 80s' teen icon film "Pretty in Pink", the very next day, we see the lovely Duchess of Cambridge appeared in a pale pink dress at Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee Lunch in Windsor Palace.
The dress is from Emilia Wickstead's fall 2012 collection.

Now we can conclude that Kate does love pleats. We have seen several versions.

From fashion sense, it's pretty smart for the Duchess to choose pleats to balance her relatively broader shoulders with narrower hits and thighs. However, sometimes, pleats do tend to appear more childish if not chosen properly with the right color, material and cutting. What do you think? I thought the Duchess looks pretty lovely in the first pink dress.

I always love how classy & beautiful she looks! She looks really great in a pleated skirt/dress.
But my favorite outfit of hers was the tight "risque" white maxi dress.

是呀. 我真的很爱看她的打扮. 觉得很classic. 而且我觉得她很聪明很用心选这些衣服的. 很多人拿她跟Diana比, 我觉得她可比她婆婆精明多了.
