Latin Power is On

I speak Spanish and I used to live in a country where Spanish is the official language. :) So after I moved to US, Universion and other foreign language channels are still on my remote.
Nowadays everything goes global and international. Movie stars are no longer only known within one territory. It's such a fascinating feeling that almost makes one feel "privileged" to see your favorite actors/singers becoming equally famous literally overnight crossed the boarder. "Hey, I know this guy. He used to be on that show I liked". Among all the neighbors, Ricky Martin (singer from Latin band "menudo") Sofia Vergara (guest star in "Feugo en la Sangre" now the leading actress in award winning show "Modern Family") are 2 outstanding celebrities. And let's not forget what's going on right on the dance floor with William Levy.




I first saw William in a very lengthy romantic 2008 telenovela called "Cuidado con el Angel" ("Careful with the Angel"). He played a role with psychologial issues and a very dark past. What first caught my eye is his last name. I thought it was very rare for latinos to have a Jewish last name. Then I noticed how handsome he looked in the show. :) He reminded me of the very young Prince William at his teen and early 20s in many ways.






It's only a matter of time when he would become American women's favorite heartthrob. First he was involved with Jennifer Lopez's divorce from Marc Anthony, then we have to stand his uber sexiness on the dance floor twice a week. Oh, my, my.
