1960s, sometimes is referred as "Space Age" in both cultural and social terms. Guess it might have something to do with the important events associated with space, such as the "Soviet Space Program", and the Landing on the Moon by Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin via Apollo 11 in 1969.
Fashion Design during this period is very characterized by its futuristic and architechtural presentation.
Pierre Cardin made his way to the Fashion Hall of Fame during the 1960s with his unique geometric Avand-Guard design.
While Space is no longer the last frontier in many ways, space age in fashion faded away throughout the later years. However once in a while we can still see the influence in current haute fashion. Balenciaga is also known by its futurism.

As much as I would like to share more on the subject, I am afraid I went too far already. :) All in all, what I wanted to say was I found this Jason Wu for Target dress very intriguing because of its somewhat Space Age like pattern and silhouette. :)
I stopped shopping for these "XXX" for "XX" as I have found the pieces with the big names on the tage didn't make them with as good quality as their original ones and the price tag was somehow awkward: less expensive but not cheap either.
This season, I only picked up this dress at a 30% discount.

啊, 你也喜欢这个裙子? 我也是偶然翻到的, 估计是谁退回去的. 看华人上说有些店里存货好多呢, 哪件都有.
我去看看别的东西吧，它家这批裙子面料还是不行，所以原价买不甘心，打折的话还可以试试
恩, 最早target的还有些好料子, 价格稍微贵一点也能承受, 而且心甘情愿. 这批简直是差到家了. 我也只爱这一件dress而已, 也就买了一件. 那个蓝花dress本来也挺喜欢, 看到食物觉得那么一大堆poly, 在闹心了.
我对target系列已经彻底没兴趣了,尤其看到网上评价说黑猫T楞给洗成了灰猫T之后.

哈哈...灰猫T...太搞了. 我们HM居然有marni这次, 不过也是一样的感觉. 我还撞到一件versace, 感觉比target的跟抢钱啊.我看到的versace, 半价后居然还100块.
我们HM也有marni,不过价太高,买不下手呀.有个前面漆皮的衣服,配色很好看,不过塑料感太强了,也就适合fashion blogger照个相,凹个造型.
