Continued from "Good Artists Copy; Great Artists Steal" - Part I
Today I am putting my copy skill into test. I probably will never be a great fashionista, but at least I can try to be a good copycat. :)
My target is Jennifer Lopez. Lady JLO has come a long way to be in today's position as far as fashion tastes goes. Nowadays she always looks polish, up to trend, yet with her own personality. The famous "celebrity-bashing" comedienne Joan Rivers once commented on her saying "She (Jennifer Lopez) always looks like a movie start except in her movies". It's actually a compliment if you really understand the meaning behind the seemingly harsh comment. :)
Flipping through a new magazine, I found this look and I am in the awe.
It's a yellow coat from The Row 2011 Fall/Winter collection, which JLo paired up with milly wide leg pants and basic black T.
I am so excited because now I find another way to wear my J.crew Symphony Coat.
So how did I do? :)
PS. pants seem requiring some hemming work. :(

我不高呀. 裤子都长着呢. :(
美国的裤子一般不都是无论什么号码，裤长都一样长吗，除非特别高的人不用截短，普罗大众都需要一定的修改吧。

恩, 不过好象大众牌子之间也有点区别. 以前BR的裤子我可以直接穿, jcrew的chino也可以. Victoria's Secret的裤子...我的妈呀, 以为我们都是gisele呢, 每条至少34的inseam
所以我爱jbrand的skinny jeans，裤长都是30左右，完全不用改。

你腿好长啊. 30的jeans不用改...哈哈..given I know how tall you are.
正常长度吧，我妈比我还矮几厘米，我俩裤长基本一样。我看水楼里好几个161左右的mm也都穿inseam 29-30的skinny pants。
恩, 我发现相对我的高度, 我腿算是比较短的, 几乎1:1的比例. :( 我爸腿短.
我老公腿短，我老说他是熊猫腿，他说我太损。我说我要是真损，就说你是机器猫腿了。，Btw,没觉得你腿短呢。

宝妈, 我今天纯是凹造型啊. 外边下雪呢, 没法穿白裤子. 最后换了牛仔跟昨天做的那个帽子出门了.
我没有165，准确身高大概是161.5厘米，最近体检刚量过。我是玉猫，水楼里另一只猫是165.
好看！颜色和形状都很美呀。话说要copy也得看水准的， 我就觉得你经常拷出来的都比原版让我看着顺眼：）
你可真能忽悠啊isabel. :) 怎么可能呢? 我没你那么多原创点子, 就只能试着拷别人了. 要是瘦点高点, 可以烤的人还多, 现在这身材太受局限了.

这身我很喜欢，clean and exquisite，一直觉得你穿宽腿裤很有气势，大衣的剪裁和fitting也很加分，的确比原版更好看！
这身好漂亮，干练而且颜色又干净，喜欢姜黄色。

小牛 那个衣服吧, 是可遇不可求的, 尤其是你有很specific的要求的时候. 我的惨痛经历告诉我, 千万不能compromise, 买了类似的或者差不多的替代品, 最后替代束之高阁, 还是要把原版买到手才为止. 浪费. :)jcrew出了个黄色的peacoat, 我还没看实物呢.
相好的, 真的比原版好看吗? 那我太得意了. :) 我脚着JLO的长卷发配那身很有风情啊. 你穿宽腿比我还有气势, 而且你还那么细.
同喜欢这件大衣，很别致！JLO很经看，星期四American Idol里穿的一件黄不黄橘不橘的Roland Mouret的dress好看得要命。 ;)
